MTI successfully completes the company reorientation . MTI now fully concentrates on the plastics processing industry.

Customer proximity is an important MTI success factor. In order to be close to its US customers, MTI founds Mixing Technology, Inc. and opens a new location in Houston, Texas.

MTI continues to grow. A new, modern production plant is built in Detmold on 22,000 sq.m. with over 6,000 sq.m. office and production area.

Asia is in the future. MTI issues a production license to the Japanese firm TSK, thus securing a share of the Japanese market..
