The Project
For the production of special plasticized PVC compounds with Shore hardnesses above A30, Rottolin wanted a mixing line that offered not only semi-automatic operation but also maximum flexibility when changing over formulations. The variety of raw materials and the amount of space available made special challenges on the design, construction and assembly of the system.
The Solution
The tailor-made solution developed by MTI more than satisfies the technical requirements, and also takes into account the ATEX directives relating to explosion protection. The product quality attained in practical application satisfies the highest demands, and the system also offers extensive possibilities for future product developments.
